How it works
Teacher sets up a class
Pick a grade and period. TextTrek makes code-name student accounts and printable login cards, with no real names.
Students sign in and pick topics
They sign in with their teacher’s last name, their class period, their own number and an easy-to-remember PIN, then choose topics like sports, mysteries, animals, space and gaming.
They practice the way FAST asks
Passages at the right level, with questions in FAST’s five formats. To help them learn, we also give a hint if they need one before they answer, and a short explanation after every answer. Book Challenge quizzes fill their bookshelf.
Teachers see who needs what
The dashboard shows which reading benchmarks each student and class is missing, and who needs attention this week.
Reviewed for Florida classrooms
Every passage students see has been read and approved by a person. Each one is screened against Florida’s instructional-materials laws and the Parental Rights in Education Act, and anything flagged is fixed or removed before it goes live.
No AI talks to your students. There’s no chatbot, and nothing a student types or chooses is ever sent to an AI. AI helps us draft passages and questions ahead of time, never live in the classroom.
